<span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">En el marco de la Alianza de Redes Iberoamericanas de Universidades por la Sustentabilidad y el Ambiente (ARIUSA), a finales de 2012 creamos la red AMBIENS para desarrollar
el proyecto de la <b>Revista Iberoamericana Universitaria en Ambiente, Sociedad y Sustentabilidad</b> (<i>Ambiens</i>). Inicialmente se apoyó en un convenio de cooperación entre la Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas y Ambientales (U.D.C.A), la Universidad Autónoma
del Estado de Morelos (México), la Universidad de Medellín (Colombia), la Universidad Nacional de Quilmes (Argentina) y el Centro Universitário de Brusque (Brasil). Con la coordinación del colega Fredy López como editor, durante su primera etapa se publicaron
los primeros cuatro números de la revista <i>Ambiens</i>.</span></p>

<span style="font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 13pt; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Debido a las dificultades habituales en este tipo de proyectos, no fue posible darle continuidad a la revista Ambiens y su publicación se suspendió durante algún tiempo. En
los últimos años, la U.D.C.A decidió rescatar esta publicación periódica con el nombre de
<i>Novum Ambiens.</i> Con el liderazgo del colega Oscar Luis Pyszczek, durante 2023 y 2024 se logró publicar los dos números de la revista correspondientes a cada año.</span></p>
